Nipawin & District Regional Park

World-Class Fishing

The Nipawin and District Regional Park (NDRP) is a fisher’s paradise, offering the best Walleye fishing in North America. Cast from shore or take to the waters to enjoy an idyllic fishing experience. For the competitive, there are several fishing tournaments throughout the season.

Camping

The park features 78 Seasonal sites, as well as 41 Full Service sites, 57 Semi Service sites with 30 amp, and 9 Semi Service with 20 amp, with fire pits, picnic tables and plenty of space to relax in. The NDRP is the first choice for many campers that are return campers and first time campers. For more information please call (306) 862-3237,

Picnic Areas, Camp Kitchens & Chalet

With more than 30 picnic sites, the NDRP is a great place to bring the family for a day of outdoor fun. The picnic area features fire pits, tables, camp kitchens and ample parking.

A day facility, our Chalet (Hall) with equipped kitchen (Fridge & Stove) is available and can accommodate up to 50 people.

Championship 18 hole Mini Golf

Come play a round at our championship mini golf course. It features several replica landmarks from the town of Nipawin and area. Stop by the gatehouse to get your golfing equipment and score card, if you want one! Our most important rule on the course is…you have to have fun!!

Little Free Library

Nestled just inside the park gate, on the edge of the minigolf course, is our Little Library. It has two separate areas for adults and kids books.

Playground and Spray Park

The NDRP is a family-friendly facility. A new playground and 2,800 square foot spray park were added in 2011 and have quickly become a favourite destination for young families. Open from 9am to 8pm daily.

Barnyard Zoo

There is a variety of barnyard animals to visit at the Nipawin Regional Park including goats, rabbits, many chickens, roosters, turkeys, ducks, geese, and a calf at our barnyard zoo. A favourite with the kids are the goats.

New for the 2025 Season – Pickleball!

New to the park this summer is a Pickleball Court! Free to play with park entry.

Don’t have a paddle to play? No problem, you can rent one at the Gatehouse. 1 paddle for $5, or 4 for $15. Must be age 16 to rent equipment.

Other Activities Around the Park

There are also horseshoe pits (see the Gatehouse for the horseshoes), a basket ball court, and a stocked trout pond, which has been upgraded. There is also a scavenger hunt available at the Gatehouse or from Nipawin Tourism for the children or young at heart. Come ask us!

Hiking/Walking Trails

The park features an extensive network of hiking trails, great for photographers, bird watchers and anyone who enjoys spending time in the unspoiled outdoors. In season, the park is a natural fruit farm offering saskatoon berries, blueberries, pin cherries, choke cherries and more. For the outdoor enthusiast our network of hiking/interpretive trails offers you a great adventure. The hiking trails have been widened and trimmed back. In the winter the hiking trails are groomed for cross country skiing.

Twin Marine Fishing Guide and Boat Rentals

Located in the Nipawin Regional Park at the Rivers edge. Twin Marine has a store, ice cream, deck facing the River, boat rentals, fishing bait, guiding services and fishing licenses. Twin Marine is Wheelchair accessible.

Aurora Houseboats

Drift life’s stresses away with Aurora Houseboats. A variety of houseboats are available for daily or weekly rental. Every houseboat is equipped with a washroom, showers, bar-b-q’s, a furnace, and cooking pots, pans and utensils. Take a weekend or a whole week and relax on the lake; let the world drift by or follow the flow.

Kayaks and Paddleboard rentals are also available for anyone in the park or on the houseboats.

Reel’em Inn Cabins

Located within the park, Reel’em Inn cabins are modern, fully equipped, wheelchair accessible and located in a naturally treed area. Evergreen Golf Course

Winter Activities

The NDRP is a great place to enjoy the outdoors even when the temperature falls below zero. Snowy winters make the park a great place to snowshoe, cross country ski, and toboggan down the hill.
